i didn’t try very hard on this i just really wanted to draw britta….

She will take what is her’s. With nagging and poorly executed reverse psychology.

Community 30day Challenge Day 1: Favorite female character
Britta Perry of course! I mean look at how beautiful she is! lol But really, she’s the best.

britta as stephanie brown’s robin. she looks kind of cute?

Besides, who needs a Mai Thai under the sun when you could have totally justified liberation?

I have gone through two separate stylus pens for the ipad this month alone. The bamboo one (which was not cheap was sent here from Moscow) lasted a week. And since I’m not about to find spare nibs here, I’m trying out homemade styluses which take a lot of time and are pretty much a bitch to make and don’t really work as well. At this point I’m getting to see the benefits of owning a tablet. Then I remember that I’m doing fanart because I’m bored.
I have a tremendous amount of love for Goth!Britta. Or for Britta in general.

30 Day Community Challenge: Day 1 - Favorite female character
Um, duh-doy! If you don’t know me then you don’t know that Britta is my absolute favorite.
It’s a funny story, actually. During my first run-through of Community I didn’t really care for her from the beginning. But it was at some point around the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2 that I really started liking her. There’s been a lot of talk about how badly she’s been “dumbed down”, which I did believe for a while. Then I realized she wasn’t dumbed down at all - it’s just that she hasn’t gotten any significant exposure since season 1, where she mostly served as a plot point/”that girl that Jeff wanted to get with”.
Despite her not getting as much a share of witty one-liners as the rest of the cast, I still love the hell out of her. As much as she tends to be a buzzkill, she just as equally brings spirit to the Study Group. She has a tenaciousness I wish I had. Flawed but with her heart in all the right places, she’s my favorite character, favorite female, and one I find easily relatable to.
